Concert band

Lead by : Rory, Emily and Ben

Wind band is RUMS largest ensemble and made up of woodwind and brass players of different levels of experience. We play lots of film music, musical medleys and other upbeat songs but always stop for cake halfway through the rehearsal! We are always looking for new members so would love for you to join us. 

String Ensemble

Lead by: Charlotte 

String Ensemble play a wide range of music, including popular classics, film music and pop songs, welcoming players of all standards. 

Choir

Lead by: Ella and Emma

We are a friendly group of singers made up of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. We sing a range of music from musical medleys to gospel but also take time to have fun! Everyone is welcome and we are always open to suggestions.

Clarinet Choir

Lead by: Jo

Clarinet choir aims to have fun whilst playing and welcome players of all abilities. We play a wide range of pieces from The Flower Duet to Don’t Stop Believing.

Brass Ensemble

Brass ensemble is a welcoming group for brass players of any level, who play a wide range of music

Sax Ensemble

Saxophone ensemble play a variety of music and are keen to welcome players of all standards.

Flute Choir

Flute ensemble is a friendly group who are keen to welcome new members of all standards. We play a wide range of music from pop songs to classical pieces.
